Pre-Junior & Junior Academy

Junior

The Junior program is where skaters begin the transition from Pre Junior or CanSkate group
lessons into more focused, figure-skating-specific instruction. Skaters work on all aspects of the
sport as they build the technical foundation figure skating requires.

Skaters must have completed Stage 5 of the CanSkate program, be moved up from our Pre-
Junior program, or been invited by a professional coach to join Junior. Figure skates (skates
with toe picks) are required for all Junior classes.
